How to generate an invoice number

You should number every invoice you generate. It’s called an invoice number. They’re important for a number of reasons:

• Being able to keep track of all your invoices
• Knowing if there’s an invoice missing or overdue
• Keeping your documentation in order when you need to file a tax return

So, how do you get an invoice number? We know you’re going to love this as much as we do, but it’s automatic! Wooooo🎉
